Yes they really are very identical, they both are strategically picking there fights. The example you gave above is very similar to floyd fight judah who lost to baldomir(who let's face it is a journeyman fighter) then he went to get those belts in a east win over baldomir. I personally give pac the edge on competition. Cotto and clottey are tougher then judah and baldy.
Floyds were a tad fresher, but that being said pacs opponents were still tougher. I would still love to see marg vs floyd because the style match up

Anyways, I respect both of them. People should do the same

lol only kinda random since the last 2 guys before you, the first 2 guys to post, didn't say sh-t about pac...but u *****s never make sense so who cares.

VICTOR! I think, n my thoughts matter much, I think Berto comes back, gets that rematch somewhere down the line and loses. Berto is still a threat, but if u can't handle someones power then theres little u can do to disrupt that unless u get ya defense to another level. On top of that, Berto didn't work the body at all in that fight, ya gotta, that's how u slow a guy down, but it all reverts back to not being able to handle his power.

"Ortiz punched Berto and hurt him a lot so thats why Berto doesn't wanna fight him again"

          brilliant boxing mind right there.

I don't see why he would. Berto had opportunities to win and wouldn't go for it. He turned to holding and hoping the ref would save him from Ortiz' fury in the back half. And this is after fighting very well early in the fight, put Ortiz down and showed he could hurt him. Berto will want soft touches to rebuild his confidence before crossing swords with Ortiz again.

And I guess many of the people who ***** about this issue or are vocal pro-one fighter and anti-the other, will still watch, and maybe even pay to see these fights that shouldn't get made.

Bottom line, if people boycotted, these fights wouldn't get made.
Yeah really, people need to stop buying these garbage fights. Pacquiao could fight a heavybag hanging from the ceiling of the MGM Grand and Arum would give some quote about how Floyd Mayweather has ducked this heavybag for years..the *******s would start talking about how Floyd is a coward who wouldn't face this heavybag and that the heavybag should really be ranked in the top 5 P4P...the *****s would talk about how Pacquiao cherrypicked the heavybag because the heavybag wouldn't make him agree to OST and agreed to a catchweight. The naive pacquiao fanbase will believe any of the garbage that Roach and Arum put out there. The nuthugging *****s will talk crap about how they hope the heavybag will knock Pacquiao's bulbous HGH head off only adding fuel to the fire...and boom fans have been suckered into 750k ppv buys to watch another garbage PPV.

I'd be very surprised if that fight happens; and if it does, Floyd gets all the props, cuz Oritz is tougher than any of PAc's last couple of opponents.
That being said, I don't think it will happen; if floyd is willing to take a tough fight, then he'll fight Manny for $50 mil, instead of Oritz for $20 mil.
More likely he fights someone like Malignaggi or Morales- someone well known who will get easily outboxed for 12 rounds
