Why should Khan fight Prescott when he's facing elite champions like Paul McCloskey? LOL.

ive really never heard of a fighter that gave another fighter a beating and then begs for a rematch. when prescott beat khan he had all the tools to go on and be succesful but he didnt he did nothing with it ...accept lose twice ! Khan went away moved up a weight, grew up and became a world champion fighting better opponents. all this i want a rematch from prescott is desperate he needs money clearly just because you beat someone years ago doesnt entitle you to a shot when that oppenent out does you man up beat some oppenents werth mentioning become his manditory and youl get the fight the proper way but he wont do that because he gets beat off any of the ranked top ten so he has to scrounge off khans success..Prescott is a one hit wonder (a great hit i might add ) but hes nothing more then that he beat a young ****y over hyped kidd in khan, khan is now an accomplished champion and a man ..big difference !!!!

Who cares where he's ranked? There are fighters ranked highly by alphabet organisations who haven't faced a single top opponent, which was certainly the case with McCloskey.

But it's not about where they're ranked anyhow. Khan has always maintained that he got caught by some ****** shots and is the better fighter. And I agree with him. But he's also avoided avenging his loss to Prescott because he knows that there a few if any fighters he could lose to that'd be as damaging to his career as a 2nd Prescott defeat. By not fighting him, he can continue to say the first fight was a fluke, that Prescott's not worthy, he needs win more fights, etc. So there's little doubt that he's ducking Prescott, or at the very least, his handlers are.

Incidentally, it's completely illogical to say that Prescott's not worthy of a rematch because he's lost a couple fights. He's the one who beat Khan. Khan should want to avenge that loss and prove it was nothing but a fluke. That's what you expect elite fighters to do - show it in the ring, not talk about it in interviews.

I like Khan and I hope he continues to do well, but I don't have his balls so far down my throat that I can't be objective.

                      Prescott is delusional

For a guy that managed to get a lucky punch off on an Amir Khan who hadn't learned to defend himself yet, Prescott has got a big mouth. Lets face it, after Khan he got schooled by Kevin Mitchell, who then got knocked out in 3 rounds by Michael Katskidis. Anyway the point is, so he knocked Amir out, big deal thats boxing for you, you get clipped, you go down. Is he in Amir's league now, no chance! Prescott has proved nothing since his fight with Khan other than he has a claim to fame, and for that reason, people should stop talking about it.
Manny Pacquiao got knocked out too early on in his career and look at him now!! The sign of a true champion is how they respond in times of crisis.
