  • Comments Thread For: Prescott Eyes Amir Khan on 7/23: I Will End His Career!

BoxingScene.com was advised that junior welterweight contender Breidis Prescott (24-2, 19KOs) is ready and willing to face WBA champion Amir Khan (25-1, 17KOs) on July 23. There are ongoing negotiations for Khan to face WBC/WBO champion Timothy Bradley, but that fight appears to be on the brink of falling through, and Golden Boy Promotions are already of lining up alternative options. In 2008, Prescott knocked Khan out in 54-seconds of the first round.

sounds like prescott has some bills to pay because he seems rather desperate to show the world that his KO was a fluke. it was one of those "1 time" phenomenon's like in the movie little giants. ONE TIME!

I'd rather see Khan face Judah or Guerrero, preferably Judah.

There's only one way to debunk a myth, and that's to test it.

I have zero desire to watch Khan vs. Prescott. Prescott hasn't done much noteworthy since the fight whereas Khan picked up a new trainer and has beaten far better opponents. Wanting Khan to avenge his loss against Prescott is like wanting Pacquiao to avenge his loss against Medgoen Singsurat. It's just pointless at this point in time.

I can't believe Bradley's name hasn't come up in this thread yet. I'll be disappointed if that fight isn't made next, considering all the talk that's been coming out of both fighters about that fight.
