who the hell is promoting/managing Wilder? They are doing a terrible job. He does have potential, but if he keeps fighting bums like this he's not going to learn anything (other than the false belief that every fight is going to be easy).

A few years back I read that Wilder was being managed by Shelly Finkel. But now that Finkel's left the boxing business, I'm not sure he's still involved.

In any event, Wilder's team needs to start taking some calculated risks now rather than later...

he won a bronze medal with not much fighting experience so that must say something about his abilities.

Like I said the guy has potential, if he continues to learn and progress as a fighter. But fighting bum after bum doesn't help anyone, it can do the opposite and regress fighters.
