No way. Don't forget that JMM will be 38 by the time October/November come around. The stars are aligned for a 3rd fight with Pacquiao. Saul is too young, not a big enough name and he just might be too big to go down to 149

Smart move if Jmm can pull it off. Not sure if he can though due to his contract limbo, but a fight with Judah would be perfect: southpaw stance, athleticism, speed and power would him prepare for Manny. If anything he can possibly win a 4th major title vs Zab and challenge for a 5th vs Pacman, win those two bouts and he's a legend.

Why are people acting like Saul is a legit threat?

top rank has nothing to do with marquez being inactive or not...its gbp that needs to get marquez going knowing that there is an offer made for later this year...and btw, why is oscar offended at the offer made to marquez even before the pac/mosley fight? the result of the pac/mosley fight has nothing to do with pac/marquez 3!!! the pac/marquez 3 is all about unfinished business...

hey delahoya, stop being a b/tch!!! if top rank made an offer to some other boxer, i bet delahoya would be crying that team pac are avoiding marquez, wut a mofo

Why not just hire top notch sparring partners to keep you sharp, and hire a nutritionist/trainer to help you put on about 7 lbs of lean muscle over the summer so you can last more than 4 rounds against Manny at 147 in the fall?

Don't see how fighting anyone in a meaningless fight outside of maybe Zab can even remotely prepare him for Manny. Don't see the risk/reward...
Agree 100% doesn't make sense. He has waited so long for his opportunity, why risk it.

Fight Judah this summer for the 4th division title, then Pacquiao for the 5th! Sounds like a plan to me.

not a bad idea... fight a small top 10 WW at a catchweight of 144 lbs to prove you belong at WW. Judah wouldn't be a bad opponent.

I agree with JMM. He should schedule an interim-fight with Joshua Clottey or Margarito or Cotto before he fights Pacman.
