I say fight Zab Judah for the speed and south paw preparations.

I agree, bec this is boxing anything can happen what if he lost or acquire a very serious injury. A 3rd Pac fight would be the largest payday that could get in his career and i think JMM deserve that kind of reward.I don't understand this logic. Why risk injuring yourself in a fight or losing and hurting your negotiating position and taking the luster away from the fight?
Why not just hire top notch sparring partners to keep you sharp, and hire a nutritionist/trainer to help you put on about 7 lbs of lean muscle over the summer so you can last more than 4 rounds against Manny at 147 in the fall?
Don't see how fighting anyone in a meaningless fight outside of maybe Zab can even remotely prepare him for Manny. Don't see the risk/reward...Comment

No way. Don't forget that JMM will be 38 by the time October/November come around. The stars are aligned for a 3rd fight with Pacquiao. Saul is too young, not a big enough name and he just might be too big to go down to 149

I hope Marquez does fight Judah, so that when Marquez gets the **** beat out of him like you guys insist, my boy Judah can get a shot at the Pacman. Other than that, Marquez or Judah are the next big thing to market with the Pacman. Pacman knows he's waisting time with Marquez, he's just in it to shut him up & for the cash. Wouldn't you?Comment

agree with his decision, get an easy fight to stay sharp, then fight pac,,but if he loses oh well,he knows very well it can happen, but i doubt it especially if he fights an easy opponent just so he can stay sharp, nobody should be away for a year when you are probably going to have a big fight, especially at his ageComment

if he wants an easy fight to stay sharp, he can just do that against sparring partners...agree with his decision, get an easy fight to stay sharp, then fight pac,,but if he loses oh well,he knows very well it can happen, but i doubt it especially if he fights an easy opponent just so he can stay sharp, nobody should be away for a year when you are probably going to have a big fight, especially at his ageComment

Saul is OVerhyped. That **** is a ****ting duck, even Hatton that is Ricky, could beat him.
this is the hype & over hyped as of my knowledge:
Juan Manuel Lopez - Legit Hype <--just ****ed up at the last fight
Nonito Donaire - Legit Hype <--similar to Juan Manuel Lopez
Andre Berto - Overhyped <--finally tested, skills are limited
Timothy Bradly - Legit Hype <-- Limited Skills
Amir Khan - Overhyped <--hasn't fought an A boxer
Juan Manuel Marquez <--Legit Hype, hasn't really been defeated as a liightweight
Manny Pacquiao <-- Legit Hype, the longest hype to last as of nowComment

Fighting Guerrero would help prepare for Manny's southpaw style. Action-wise, it's gotta be Bam Bam Rios!Comment

I bet it's Morales.Citing inactivity fears, WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez has told reporters that he would prefer to take an interim-fight, if possible, in "July or August" and then face WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao in October or November. Marquez is already training in Mexico with Nacho Beristain.

Yes they would, that's fkn $5mil on the table right there.I think it's a bad idea for JMM to face Manny over 140lbs and I think the years since their last bout have been kinder to Manny than to JMM, but whatever. He and Bernstain are baaaaaadddd asses and they wouldn't take the fight if they didn't figure they could win it.
War MFKN' JMM!!!!Comment
