Hopefully he doesnt lose. Im not sure if Juanma can make the neccesary adjustments to beat Salido but in order for his career to move forward he needs to beat him imo.

The only thing Lopez could have possibly had over Salido is power and as we witnessed in the fight with Salido, it didn't matter because Lopez couldn't hurt Salido. Skills go to Orlando. Lopez will get beat again if he doesn't tighten up his technical fight game but by hearing and reading how he talks about the fight you can can tell he was trying to cast blame on other things. Talking abouthe doesn't know why he was so slow?

I guess Juanma forgot that he doesn't call the shots anymore cause NOW the world champ is Salido & he decides when the rematch is done!!

Your right..Juanma is talking about that he didn't have speed, when it's clear that that problem was his defense, not his speed..Juanma must have ate 95% of the straight right hand punches Salido threw & was also snacking on the uppercuts!! But he's concentrating more on bettering his speed & even added this Edwin Rivera guy to his team help him with that, when Juanma & his team should be looking for ways to better his defense..& speed doesn't really bother Salido & he showed that in his fight against Gamboa & Juanma is NEVER going to match Gamboa's speed!! If that's the way they are gonna go about it, history will most probably repeat its self again!!

Salido was dinging Lopez up left and right and if the ref didn't stop it, Lopez would have been on his face or out the ropes. I got Salido in the rematch, stoppage or KO in round 7.
I watched Guerrero-Salido before the fight and he did the same to him, except Guerrero had a good enough chin and strong enough to stay upright, but he was getting rocked by clean left and right hooks to the head and body. Salido had him like a zombie just walking forward into shots and not being able to do anything about it.

The featherweight version of Guerrero looked a lot like Lopez, as far as his physical frame and style. This was no fluke, they should do what Guerrero did and avoid a rematch and keep it moving because Salido will give him another beatdown.

Lopez can win if he boxes him and picks his spots. He was winning the first half of the fight in my opinion. But if he gets drawn into another firefight he's getting sparked again. You can't go to war with a guy who packs a punch without a good chin.

Yeah i agree but im not sure Juanma is the type of fighter who can fight 12 rounds with that style. His instinct is to trade and with Salido's chin and his own lack of chin this might just be one of those bad style match ups.
