Why do people presume Khan is going to make huge PPV money against Bradley?

The chances are, Khan vs Bradley may not even be televised on a major UK tv channel let alone run as a PPV.

The amount of viewers willing to stay up until 4 in the morning to watch him fight an unknown American will be minimal. The amount of viewers willing to pay £15 to watch an unknown American will be almost non-existant.

Sky will not run this fight as a PPV. They may pay a nominal fee for the rights to this fight but I can't imagine it being over £100-200k.

Thus, the argument that Khan is making millions and Bradley is taking the short end of the stick is unfounded.

HBO have offered $3m for the event. Bradley is making $1.3m, almost half, and presumably Khan is on a similar kind of deal. The remainder of the cash will pay for the undercard.

Bradley's share of the total purse in this fight will probably range from 45-50%. This is more than a fair figure, and one he shouldn't refuse.

If this fight falls apart, the blame shouldn't be placed with Khan who has done all he can to secure Bradley as an oppponent.

Khan should have no problem splitting the UK revenue then, should he?

This fight would be PPV in the UK and do atleast 100k buys at £15 each, that's £1.5 million and Bradley should receive nothing of that money?

The 100k buys in the UK will be because people want to see Khan not Bradley.

dont forget if sky dont show it, the fight wont get 10% of the publicity that the McCloskey fight did. Sky promoted that fight, and then when the fight was pulled from sky that made the news which also mentioned primetime were showing it. All the hard work was done for primetime.

Add on to that it'll be at 4am, and add onto that half the buys for Khan McCloskey probably came from Ireland (just a guess, maybe a slight exageration, as half the crowd in the venue were cheering McCloskey on), add onto that both Khan and Bradley's last fights were ****e, I really cant see this fight selling to well

It would be PPV in the UK. This fight is the reason Sky have invested in the 140lb division.
