Why does Roach/Pacquiao allow cbs to show training, sparring sessions, and game plans? Is this that gonna be a disadvantage for the team? I remember during the hatton 24/7 Roach told the camera guys they can show the whole training if they wanted. While Floyd does not allow camera guys in while he is sparring.

I believe they are giving Mosley's team an advantage by getting closer look at how the Pac trains. They are also giving away valuable information on how mosley punches, thus giving away some game plan information.

    Any thoughts?

BTW this is not about a Manny vs Floyd thread... that was just an example. Let actually have a real discussion thread

They've been showing less and less over the years. For probably the exact same reason you're thinking about.

When they do show a little sparring in Pac's yt channel, they've shown the bits where it's Manny against Beltran or Rodela. They've kept the footage of rounds with Porter because against him is when they're really working on the game plan.

Next time try to add a "P" before sychological, I mean who doesn't know that "psychological" is spelled with a "P" before the entire word? It's 2011 and it does make you feel like an illiterate.

Hi everybody, To help deal with the increasing number of posts, the moderators and I have decided that it was best to create a new forum for questions about grammar and other topics that are not about vocabulary. The original idea for the Spanish-English forum was that it be a discussion...

heres the right forum for you. this forum is for boxing fans.

nice to know... I just don't understand why they show so much for everyone to see. Honestly, I would not give out any training sessions beside jump roping and hitting the bags.

why do you think they mentioned a small piece of their game plans? I believe they are giving out valuable information and i'm sure other trainers/boxers would not allow that.

It doesn't really matter. I could watch all the tape of Pac I wanted but if he is that much faster and agile then I am, how am I going to stop it in the first place? After I have been hit by several 4 or 5 punch combinations, my game plan is likely going by the wayside in favor of defense anyways.

This. But I was surprised to hear Roach say they will be going to the body to stop him - if that isn't a smokescreen.

hmmm.... so you're basically saying a very fast boxer with excellent footwork will make anybody forget about their game plan?
