Pacquiao is talking out of his ass.

He had Cotto hurt worse than Mosley had Mayweather, in the 2nd and 4th rounds I believe it was, and he couldn't stop a defensively flawed, easy to hit, Miguel Cotto, until the 12th round.

What makes him think 1. He'll ever have Mayweather as hurt as Mosley did and 2. That he'll be able to finish him if he couldn't even finish a weight drained Cotto at a catchweight[who immediately went up to 154 afterward] and couldn't finish a washed up plaster-less Margarito at 150?

    Pacquiao is delusional.

how do u open up someone if they have both their arms up covering their face the whole time?? its not like clottey was making pac miss. so u cant compare what clottey did with pac to floyd. floyd will have to throw if he wants to win.

I think hes saying that if Floyds hurt, he is crafty enough and has good enough ability to cover up well enough and long enough until he gets his bearings back, for example in that 2nd round against Mosley... he covered up very well and had some tricks under his sleeve and boxed well under the circumstances, and then once he got his head together he finished the last 45 seconds of the round quite strong (from what I remember). Nobodies saying Floyd will cover up for 12 rounds because then hed be doing nothing, but Floyd has good enough defense were he doesn't have to cover up for 12 rounds and still outbox people because hes a unique kinda fighter like Manny, but if he is hurt he knows how to cover up.

I'm even disgusted for putting both those two in the same sentence, but clearly you didn't understand what I said. What I'm saying is, Floyd will cover up if Pacquiao manages to hurt/ stun him, so I strongly doubt Pacquiao stops Mayweather, when Pacquiao couldn't even penetrate through Clottey's guard. Pacquiao has a lot to his game, but I certainly think he lacked the overall physical strength to break through Clottey's shell, size also played a role. Even though that fight was pointless, I still managed to gather a few things from it.

He also has more speed than Mosley.. which may stun Floyd.

Would definitely be difficult for Manny to get Floyd out of there though.. IMO.
So he knocked Cotto down and then what happened? Didn't stop him until like 8 rounds after that. What a great finisher. I am really convinced with that knock down that he will finish Mayweather if he ever stuns him.

Once again, I am saying under the circumstances of him being THAT hurt against Manny, he is better defensively than Clottey so if he is hurt he knows how to cover up for a minute or so and is crafty enough to get his head together... thats what im saying.

Im not saying he will cover up for the entire fight and do nothing, yeah hel cover up but not to the extent to Clottey who wasn't doing anything, Floyd just has a unique defense wear he can outbox people without having to cover up THAT much, he will move around a lot more in general against Manny.

Well for one, Cotto broke through Clottey's guard rather easily, as did Margarito. Again, that has more to do with physical strength and size.

Yeah right. Cotto admitted himself that he was in perfect condition before and after the fight.. If you wanna see a weight drained fighter you look at Corales when he fought Floyd, and that was Floyd's best win..

Corales was literally spending so much time in the sauna tryin' to make weight. And was documented even before the fight started so it was never an excuse on why Corales lose because he was really weight drained.
