You're not taking into account that many of those "misses",

were actually punches that were blocked by the arms or gloves.

Its as if you're implying that "misses" means that Manny hit nothing but air because Clottey was so evasive.


Punches that hit arms or gloves may not count as punches per punchstat, but only a fool would think it wasn't effective.

Those punches didn't miss my friend... they constantly hit his arms, elbows, shoulders.... just coz a punch doesn't land clean doesn't mean it wasn't effective in another way.... The way you say it, is like he was punching air all night..... Mayweather took Mosley's two best and hardest shots and was still standing AND fighting back. Mosley had his entire bodyweight on those two shots. Floyd recovered by fighting smart, covering up and clinching, keeping Shane at a close distance. People like Cotto and Margarito don't know how to protect themselves. They either try to slug it out with Pacquiao or just move forward with their hands down and taking punches (like Margarito). Cotto did great against Pacquiao in the first rounds when he was boxing. He was snapping Manny's head back with a simple jab. When he lost his composure and tried to slug with the slugger, he failed. Floyd won't do that. He'll stick with the game plan and adjust.

I think it's funny that Team Pacquiao mention Floyd's name in EVERY interview. If you feel you're better than him and have accomplished more, then why run your mouths about Floyd in every interview?

Pacquiao will get busted up against Mayweather. Mayweather fights more on his back foot these days but he's complete. Pacquiao has not even learned how to clinch yet. He'll get busted up on the inside. I really do hope Mosley puts some breaks on this guy.
