Good & smart move by Cotto, cause there's a lot of boxing talent in D.R..& it's a good way to start expanding his promotional company...A lot of fighters from D.R. train here in Puerto Rico & have become local favorites like Daniel"Azuquita"Jimenez, Marcos"El Tigre"Jimenez(no relation to Azuquita) & Thomas"El Frances" Dulorme(who was born on the French side of St.Maarten, but was raised in D.R which is where his parents are from)..

This is Awesome.. I'm Boricua but I live in Dominican Republic, There's alot of talent here for boxers but there are no gyms, all the investments goes into baseball. Hopefully Cotto can change that and put DR on the map for the sport.
