Comments Thread For: Carl Froch, Joe Calzaghe Bury The Hatchet on Their Feud

Carl Froch appeared on Steve Bunce's radio show on Thursday to advertise the release of his autobiography, he also revealed his regrets over a bitter war of words with former undisputed super-middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe. Calzaghe retired with a 46-0 (32) record, he bowed out after defeating Roy Jones in 2008, much to the annoyance of Froch, who tried to bait Joe into an all-British fight by questioning the Welshman's legacy via numerous press releases.

The one thing I never liked about Froch is the way he disrespected Joe.

        So this is good news.

It's still a shame these two guys never got it on. Both are great in their own right.

I think a lot of people who slagged off Froch during Calzaghe's heyday are eating their words now.

For someone with less talent than Calzaghe he has achieved much more in his career.

Calzaghe's never coming out of retirement, so there's no need for the feud now.

All it was ever about was Carl getting a fight. Turned out he didn't need JC to build a Legacy after all. If he wins Super Six, he's one of the Greatest British fighters of All-Time.
