Carl Froch appeared on Steve Bunce's radio show on Thursday to advertise the release of his autobiography, he also revealed his regrets over a bitter war of words with former undisputed super-middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe. Calzaghe retired with a 46-0 (32) record, he bowed out after defeating Roy Jones in 2008, much to the annoyance of Froch, who tried to bait Joe into an all-British fight by questioning the Welshman's legacy via numerous press releases.

This could possibly have something to do with the fact Joe Calazghe was on Ringside this past Thursday and had alot of nice words to say about Carl Froch and showed him alot of respect.
Froch probably puts aside the fact Calzaghe didn't fight him and identifies he will never come out of retirement. Joe openly admits he wants to keep his 0 and retired because he felt he was on the slide and could possibly lose it. Considering the strength of the Super Middleweight division currently its safe to say Joe won't come out of retirement anytime soon.
I don't think Froch cares anyway. At the rate he is going he will be considered greater than Calzaghe at 168 in a few years anyway.Comment
