Yeah but jack, chris byrd is short and he boxes going backwards so if he can do it why couldnt mike ? . Do you think mike would be quicker dancing backwards than forwards ?

Yeah, but his arms are already out...and he throws those soft punches/slaps to score. So he can easily lure an opponent to follow him around, lean back and slap them. Mike likes power.

Look at his lead hand...it's always out far away from him, that's how he catches jabs before they even get near his head, and he counters..

tyson fleetfooted? he was FLATFOOTED! what made him a champion was that he went up to much inferior opponents, in skill and in age. when he went up to much skilled fighters, holyfield, douglas... he was beaten, and he was still in his prime...
