Cotto will do what he did last time out for 12 rounds instead of 10.
Huh? Cotto handled Margarito? So Cotto won the first ten rounds and suddenly just ended up beaten up, exhausted, bloody and then folded in the 11th?

Either you haven't watched ir since it happened or just haven't watched it at all. Cotto was hurt badly and getting hit way too much as early as the second round. It wasn't nearly as one sided early on for Cotto as everyone makes out. It was even for the most part with Cotto doing the cleaner work.

The problem for Cotto is that he's no different now really. In fact he's more of a boxer now than ever, but that's not what he needs. He wastes more energy unless the guy is just standing there. If he gets backed up, he just ends up moving too much as we saw against Tony the first, against Clottey and against Pac.

margs gonna take it again, i think cotto is going to be hesitant this time and he is going to have a lot of pressure on him, i think he will be thinking about the last fight and that might kill his gameplan and margs got nothing to lose he is going to be ready to prove he destroyed cotto without using illegal wraps but either way it will be an explosive fight

Unless Cotto can find stamina somewhere I'm afraid it'll be the same outcome as the first. Cotto is more skilled and was winning with his boxing until he ran out of gas and could not get away from Margarito. Margarito started catching up to him and landing his big shots. Cotto has always had problems with his stamina, he gets weak in the later rounds and his punches loses their effect.

Margarito on the other hand has excellent stamina, probably second only to Pacquiao.

Cotto's chance would be to finish it early but Margarito has a solid chin so that's probably unlikely.

Cotto was actually VERY MUCH in the fight until the last 20 seconds of round ten. And the shot that changed the rest of the fight was a freebe that Margo landed when Cotto was sliding on the ropes to his left with his hands at his thighs... He never recovered from that plaster-shot and the rest is history. Cotto making a few adjustments and making sure Margo's wraps are plaster free and you will see a nice UD for Cotto.

Perhaps, but how much of that "stamina" issue was related to plaster shots to the body??

Pacquiao must be packing some nice "plaster" since Cotto ran from rounds 5-12.
