If the reports are correct how hard is it to put in place the officials that were outlined in the contracts?? And if the reports are correct why is it that the magnitude of Showtime's pressure hasn't surfaced to solve the issue?

I agree, but Goosen said that the California Commission had appointed a ref from neither the US or Germany....
but nobody will tell us who the ref is and what country he is from.Comment

For all we know the appointed referee was californian. I doesnt matter if the referee was Arthur Mercante's older brother. Bottom line is that he referee does not meet the agreed upon standard of nationality. The issue with the CSAC having the right to appoint the officials is well-known, but if this issue wont be solved the fight should be postponed and a new venue outside the range of an incompetent CSAC should bbe appointed. Berlin would be a good choice.Comment

I'm so sick of Abraham and the excuses and the nonsense. There is no way California would agree to a panel of officials that would not include at least one California official and I do not believe any guarantee was made to the Abraham camp that it would four non-Americans. I just don't buy it. So let Abraham pull out. Who cares.Comment

Your post and the video sequence below are extremely incongruent. Did you notice this at all? The video sequence would justify any of Sauerland's actions to get neutral officials to not let something happen like this (Kessler cut three times) again.Last edited by sweet-s; 04-29-2011, 01:27 PM.Comment

Dirty, Dirty Goosen
Mr. Goosen always plays like he doesn't know what is going on, once again he is caught in the middle of something where he looks like he is not being honest. His hypocritical nature is getting old! His business practices are something else. Look at all the concerns surrounding him? Altered contracts, hiding agreements, etc... With all the stuff going on it looks to me like he wants to help Universum? Its a no brainer that if you are involved with Goosen you need to be prepared for his shady business parctices. This situation with Sauerland seems to be a familiar pattern with GT. GT is gonna do what they can these days, only one champ left with Ward. The ship is sinking guys.............time to work on your credibility!Comment

Sauerland has the advantage he would be a fool to let his fighter go out there with the risk of a hometown decision or a bad ref
and seriously the worst robberies are on US soilComment

I'm interested in hearing who the refs and officials are so we can get to the bottom of this. Hopefully some of the boxing media will research further.
But Abraham has been exposed as a one dimensional slug. He should be hungry for any opportunity to prove himself.
Instead his team is looking for any excuse to get out of this fight, which is pretty much a guaranteed loss.Comment
