As any drugs that enhance the performance of a boxer, pain reliever also give edge that boxer over his opponent(like proven xylocaine addict in floyd). Boxing is a sport that is measured how one inflict pain through his punches and the one that can't bear such pain loses the game. Now with pain reliever, one can't feel the pain from the punches of his opponent and enjoys a huge advantage.

Can you call it boxing if one uses a pain reliever during the fight?

Since that fighter can't fight without a pain reliever then the commission must protect him from being harmed, don't let him box anymore......

Come to think of it...It is more punishable than Plaster of Paris cause no amount of Plaster of Paris can inflict pain in someone using pain reliever....
