I don't about how reliable the TS is so I won't take that quote seriously since he didn't even mention Ortiz manager name nor provided a link.

I know I read that Guerrero-Ortiz might be possible though.

Stop being such a cry baby fanboy and realise that a FMJ vs Victor Ortiz fight makes alot of sense, and provided Floyd wins it's the perfect warmup for a MP fight.......provided Manny accepts OST and is reasonable on the money front.....
Didn't Roach say that Victor Ortiz beat the crap out of Pac in sparring?...so why would Ortiz just be a tune up for Floyd?

he said they were beating on eachother he didn't say victor beat the crap out of eachother.

god, if every fighter who does good in sparring gets a huge PPV fight pac would fight shawn porter and floyd would fight Spadafora

i'm not suggesting it is.....hence the proviso of "if he wins"

But, Floyd has had a long layoff and i don't see there being any value in him taking an easy fight before he takes on MP (if that's his intention). Ortiz is the perfect precursor to a MP showdown. He is fast, strong, throws alot of punches and is a southpaw.

            anyone remember these quotes:

“Anything else would be disrespectful to a judge or the legal system. … He could say, OK, let’s fight Pacquiao in May or whenever and make a deal. How would a judge feel about that? You just don’t do that.”

"Obviously, Floyd Mayweather has a situation with a court in Las Vegas, and I don’t want to disrespect the court and plan a fight when these kinds of things are pending,” I think we have to respect the court and the process, and when that is dealt with then we can move ahead.”

            Richard Schaefer.

I guess it's all good now to disrespect the courts!

You're a complete douchebag and a ****** one at that. Ortiz rehydrated to over 160 in the WW clash with Berto. His punch output increased and his chin was better. He has always struggled to even get to 140. He is a natural welterweight and will continue to prove that imho.

Additionally Mayweather doesn't even walk around at over 160 soaking wet in btw fights after year long layoffs, so actually he will weigh at least 5-8 pounds less than Ortiz come fight night.

It's ok to talk ****, but at least know wtf you are talking about ****!!!

He's not fighting Guerrero........no way known that fight will happen...and if it did and he didn't fight MP or SM right afterwards i will be his most vocal critic on this site, you can count on that.

It's pretty obvious he's moving up perm. to welterweight where he had success beating an undefeated Berto. Only way he moves down is for a big payday

Unfair comment IMO. Feel free to hate on mayweather but use facts otherwise you look foolish.

Do you guys not understand that Robert Guerrero is a LW? How is Hyperion hating? Because, he thinks Floyd fight Guerrero is a travesty? GTFOH. It's quite obvious that he wasn't talking about Ortiz but talking about Guerrero.
