According to Dan Rafael, Bradley most likely is not going to be able to fight until the end of the year on HBO, if he BACKS OUT on his word to face Khan this summer, which he looks like he will do. When you consider how Bradley could've made money off all the time he is wasting, and the opportunity to raise his laughable profile and popularity by fighting Khan, it seems like Bradley is actually being very ******.

And it also looks like it will be the last big money fight Bradley will get on HBO, unless he somehow becomes a huge star in his next fight, which is unlikely since he is SHOCKINGLY unpopular, a non entity, and the opposite of a cash cow. It seems like Bradley is really screwing himself over, because the fight with Khan probably will not happen later on, and if it does, HBO will offer Bradley MUCH less money.

Bradley's handlers are being very smart. Those of you who think otherwise, didn't read the full piece of why he is doing this.

HBO guaranteed him 1.2 million to fight next, DOESN'T MATTER WHO IT IS. So why would he waste that on Khan?

He should get his 1.2 million, then set up a fight with Khan later on down the road with Khan which he was offered 1.3 million to fight.

So why wouldn't he take both?

He's smart, not greedy. Money pays the bills and in the fight game you need to make as much as possible especially when you are a fighter like Bradley who really hasn't made much of it.

I think it's a hurtful move in the long run. His way of thinking I guess is that since HBO supposedly guaranteed him so much money in his next fight that he'll get to fight a cup cake for big money and save the Khan fight for later for even more money. But HBO will keep stalling him if he don't fight a serious opponent. Which in turn will put him on the shelf a lot longer. So he should just accept the money being offered and beat Khan if he's so confident about it. I never thought I'd come to a day where I'd be defending Khan on this site.

Its been reported that as part of the Alexander/Bradley deal, HBO gave Bradley a short list of opponents he could face. Maidana, Berto, Khan, or a rematch with Alexander(which they turned down).

I dont think HBO is going to give Bradley a 1.2 million dollar cupcake.

You not really defending him tho,you just want to see the fight like most(myself included)..But Bradley is looking at it like this(imo)give me 1.20 mill and we have a fight if not I'll take on a different fight for the 1.3 mill leave Shaw and re-nego with a Major Promotion company behind him...Which will mean more money..Bradley with a Major Promotion company is gonna be so bad azz by the way..But Bradley has options and HBO/Shaw has to pay to play..Bradley has taken a lot of risky fights and been under paid for a longtime it's time to get paid..This is a business..
