Floyd was hitting shane with shots that was stopping mosley in his tracks and snapping.his head back, , just because mosley wasn't stumbled doesn't mean it didn't hurt, you could see it in his face and tell by his loss of confidence
Jeff Mayweather: "I just don't see Manny knocking Shane out"

"I don't think Shane is going to get stopped by Manny. Shane is a guy who has went up as high as 160 pounds and fought much bigger guys and much stronger guys than Manny. I mean, of course one punch can change anything, but at the same time, I just don't see it happening to Mosley," stated world-class trainer Jeff Mayweather, who shared his thoughts on Freddie Roach's bold prediction that pound-for-pound champion Manny Pacquiao would be the first to stop three-division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley. According to Jeff, Mosley still has some fuel left in the tank and will be a very live underdog despite the odds.
"He's been durable his entire career and I don't think that he's completely done. He still carries a big punch and decent speed and I think if he catches Manny the way he caught Floyd, we will be looking at another upset," Jeff explained as he talked about the fight during a recent interview with FightHype. "I think he is a live underdog with a punchers chance. That's what I see in Shane. I'm not a Manny hater or anything like that, but I just don't see Manny knocking Shane out."
Despite Jeff's opinion, there's still a good possibility that Pacquiao could very well be the first to stop the future Hall of Famer. Should that happen, however, Jeff does not think Pacquiao's performance against Mosley can outdo that of his nephew, Floyd Mayweather Jr., who defeated Shane via unanimous decision nearly a year ago. "If he does, more power to him, but at the same time, what does it matter when every time you do something to somebody, Floyd already did it before you. You knocked out Hatton, so what? Floyd beat him first. You knocked out De La Hoya; Floyd beat De La Hoya at his own weight class. So basically, all you are doing is following everyone that Floyd s fighting and Floyd has already done the damage to them."

He goes from "being dangerous" to "on even terms" to "holding his own" to "getting outworked" to "getting beat up".
Shane's solid, he won't be stopped a la Hatton. Pacquiao's not a phenomenal puncher like Gamboa, Tyson, or Jones in his prime...Pacquiao is just a freakishly fast puncher that can throw in combinations, zip out, and then come back in for more and he can do that over and over again. Cotto managed to stay in there for 12 rounds, Shane can do it, too.
What Shane doesn't have going for him is that he's shown his age in these past two fights. Logic says, "Shane gets off to a jittery start moving his punches anxiously and after Pacquiao starts warming up Shane finds himself in trouble getting pummeled and outworked. As a result, he tenses up, looks for the homerun shot, gets gassed and gets battered. He won't look nowhere near bad as Margarito (there is no human alive that could've withstood 350+ punches to the face from Pacquiao!!!) but shane's stamina will be his downfall. That's all there is to it.Comment
