When Clay was boxing sub-200 lbs he was fast. But that weight class is called CRUISER. And compared to nowadays' cruisers he IS NOTHING SPECIAL.

I don't think the Terrell fight compares favorably for Ali against the Klitschkos any more than the Julius Long (7'1") fight compared favorably for Odlanier Solis.

I'll say this: the best fighter either Klitschko has fought, by far, is Lennox Lewis. Even if you buy into the whole "Vitali was up on the cards" notion, you have to admit that Klitschko had all he could handle in that fight. Ali was a greater, smarter fighter than Lennox; he would've found the right game plan to beat the K brothers, and he had the tools to implement it. Ali would've boxed his way to an interesting, exciting UD victory over Wlad and Vit.

Believe it or not. I even encountered the opinion that merely claiming that Ali would LOSE against the Klitschkos is already racism.

It's actually funny considering that Clay himself was one of the most outspoken racists of all time. He even held a speech at a KKK rally where he advocated racial separation. Hey, he was even for the death penalty if a black woman would mess around with a white guy.
