I know that at this point in Marquez's career he still has a lot more left in him than Cotto, despite his age. He can add Rios, Vazquez or Soto to his resume, don't see Cotto doing much in the future. Right now though, it's very close, don't know who to pick here.

        JMM>Cotto...

He's also a much better fighter, no disrespect to Cotto.

DLH had an amazing resume which included Bernard Hopkins, Mosley and Trinidad, all fights he "lost".
if resume doesnt =wins..than journeymen/gate keepers have better resumes than anyone

JMM and is not even close.

JMM is a first ballot HOF'er maybe arguably borderline ATG.

While Cotto is a borderline HOF'er.

Resume=wins and maybe draws, losses only counts if it's a robbery or an arguably decision. And, JMM wins in that department

Better fighter=skills and JMM wins that department as well.

Even Cotto's win over Zab Judah is better than Marquez's rematch win against Diaz and Katsidis. Yeah, I don't understand how this isn't close...

Just because someone has an "0" on their record doesn't mean it's a good win. And, you forgot to mention other wins for JMM if you going to mention the liked of Torres, Corley, Quintana, Urkal, and Maussa. I mean if those are the type of names you going to mention then you can mention Gainer, Pedend, hell Manuel Medina is a better win than the Torres, Quintana, Corley, Urkal, Maussa, Foreman, and the Mayorga win. And, going by how it was won it's a better win than the Corley win. And, more importantly than who is when.

You forgetting quite a few names on JMM resume.

But, you're Rican so that explains why you have selective memory.

This is almost even imo. JMM even at his older age will be adding more impressive wins. JMM gets the edge.
