he didn't have that official win 2 years ago, though, which is my point. if he was edging it back then in your opinion, shouldn't a KO win over the ATG Pacquiao have pushed him into a clear lead over Cotto in the resume stakes by now?

            you cant argue facts....

            Cotto has a better resume

            are you done yet?

Boxrec doesn't always have all the facts homeboy.

Cotto barely squeaked by Clottey in a fight many people thought Clottey won.

Trout is a paper champ, best win before Cotto was Rodriguez, who was never a top jmw.

Mayorga had only fought once in two years before being knocked out by Mosley.

Foreman was another paper champ and never beat anyone worth mentioning.

Quintana had never fought anyone up to that point and has been knocked out everytime he loss. Which made his win over Williams not look that good.

Torres had never fought anyone before he fought Cotto and had Cotto looking like he was going to get stopped.

Corley also had Cotto in trouble and that was one of the worse stoppages I've seen.

Bailey had already been stopped by Hurtado, and lost to Corley and Smith before facing Cotto.

Bazan had been stopped by Castillo three fights before facing Cotto.

And last but not least Maussa. He's another Colomian fighter with a padded record and hadn't fought anyone.

Theres a reason Trout, Foreman, Torres, Maussa, and Quintana were undefeated. They hadn't fought anyone.

Kotey, Medina, Salido, Katsidis and Jimenez weren't all great fighters but they were good and had losses on their records because the were matched tough their careers.

JMM stopped one of the guys that beat the **** out of Cotto. Enough said.
your comment is bias ... if you break down one fighter do the other.... you made a statement with no facts.... they were matched toughly? and cottos opponents werent? lol you people continue to argue facts.

beating Manny Pacquaio makes you the messiah apparently... one win doesnt make up an entire resume... the question is clear, who has the better RESUME.... Miguel Cotto does.

because two years ago, before the Pac KO win, you said JMM had a slight edge. so how does he still have only a slight edge after KO'ing Pacquiao?

i'll tell you what. don't worry about it.
