fighting a rated guy in your OWN DIVISION is always a legit fight. than fighting a guy 2 division below you. only haters would say otherwise

mayweather/marquez is worse because it was suppose to be a catch weight of 144lbs and money didn't even make weight. Not to mention jmm is a lw, 2 divisions below. On the night of the fight, may refused to weigh in so by fight time i would guess he was at least 10lbs heavier.

People **** on mosley cause he didn't look good his last 2 fights. They say he was too old against mayweather and mora. Mayweather was just the superior boxer and would have beat shane whether he was prime or not. Yes, mosley didn't look so good against mora but first off, mora didn't even make weight at '54 and shane isn't even a '54 fighter to begin with. Even so i still think shane did enough to win that fight. I wasn't complaining when it was a draw because it was a boring fight but i believe mosley did just enough to get the nod.

what about the fact that jmm is the one who called out floyd and wanted to move up in weight?

People on here know I dislike Floyd, but again to be fair it's no different than B-hop facing and beating Pavlik.

Both Pav and Marquez were the concensus #1 guys in their division, and both hopped up two divisions to face an elite fighter they called out.

Why people bash Floyd for this, and turn around and act like B-hops win over Kelly is the greatest thing since slice bread is beyond me.

TBH the only WW I would favor over Shane at this point is Victor Ortiz (outside of Floyd and Manny).
