Yes, Clottey is bigger, stronger and has better defense to go with a solid jab that will slowly break down Vic. Both of their heart's are questionable but I'd still give the edge to Clottey due to more solid fundamentals.

No, not ever. Just don't want to see Clottey anymore, he's a waste.

Ortiz is gonna have to work, not worry about landing clean shots. He'll have to keep a cool head, not go into panic mode. He best not pull straight back either because Clottey does have a straight right hand and can fight in close. In fact, there are a lot of things Clottey can do, it's too bad he's weak minded and his stamina is very questionable. I wouldn't know who to lean towards, I want to say Ortiz because I really dislike Clottey after the shitty performance he put up against Pacquiao, so I don't know really.

I'd like to see it. Clottey has been in some good fights other than Pacquiao.

Ortiz is probably just good enough for Clottey to blow the championship rounds and lose to.

i think this would be a brilliant fight. Vic's punch output at 147 was higher than at 140 so i think he can trouble Clottey because he has power too.....but i'd still probably slightly favour Clottey. Would be a good competitive fight imo.

Co-sign.I don't think there was ever another fighter who would simply continue to not throw punches, but still expect to win,in every fight.

Just because Clottey could not react against Pacquiao's speed doesn't mean he will continue to be as defensive as he was with Pacquiao than against Ortiz.

Remember, Clottey went well against Cotto. So let's not look at Clottey at his last fight.

I would prefer this fight and see if Ortiz will have answers to Clottey's defense as well as his offense.

I guess the old saying "You're only as good as your last fight." is true. Yes, I agree, Clottey stunk it up against Pac and looked bad. But why can't it be that Pac was just that good instead of Clottey being that bad? Everyone knows hes a massive WW, so the cut to '47 probably had a bit of a roll on his conditioning.

What about his fights against Cotto and Judah? He looked pretty damn good there. If you guys think the Clottey that showed up against Pac is gonna be the same Clottey against Vic, think again cause Pac and Vic fight nothing alike. Clottey taps that ass and boxes Vic's head off all night!
