timba, I am a Khan fan too but lets get real here. Amir Khan is not the problem with the way his negotiations turn out. Team Khan constantly get accused of low balling and messing up negotiations . Maidana FORCED HIS MANDATORY RIGHTS to get his deal forcing purse bids. The pay cut line you are trying to drop is BS Khan had no option once purse bids were sanctioned . When negotiations with Team Khan failed after Team Khan accused Maidana of pricing himself out of a fight Maidana was forced to go to purse bids.
You also seem to forget GBP tied up Maidana for ages into not being able to force a mandatory.

Low balling is making derisory offers,if Khan did not take the fight after purse bids were sanctioned he would have been stripped of his title. Khan could not get self imposed amount once purse bids were sanctioned. You make it sound like he backed down out of choice. He had no choice other than giving up his title.

Oh and Peterson made 345,000 to fight Bradley, maybe he felt having to fight in England, he should get more than 300,000. I mean I know Khan sells over there but 1.25m to 300k which im assuming Khan was getting 1.25 regardless of who he fought, that means the purse was 1.55m so Peterson would had gotten less than 20%. 80-20 in any match is not fair. so I feel Peterson on that one.

Let's not forget that in the contract to fight Peterson they also had a rematch clause that said if Peterson should win he'd had to fight Khan again for the same purse as before. Now does that sound right to you? If Peterson were to beat Khan and become champ he's gonna have to take short money again!? I was actually thinking Peterson was ****** until that information came out.
