    A problem with boxing's w classes

    There are 17 different weight classes? wtf.. i dont think this is progress for the sport.. it should be more simple, like the ufc's weight classes. Thats the one thing that bugs me. Champions would be recognized more.. i understand boxer's make themselves popular by their fights and actions(KOs), but still! it would help alot of people to make it simpler. example---- (Watching a fight with my gf) "so, what weight is this title for?" "It's the wbo super feather weight title" which leaves her like "huh?" ----- maybe that's not the best example, but it happens all the time.. too many weight classes!

        it would be nice if they eliminated some weight classes but its not gonna happen

        either you memorize all the classes like most followers do or dont bother tryin to explain it to other people who dont get it

        at a fight party, when casuals try to ask me ****, it goes like this;

        them: what weight class is this
        me: super bantam
        them: huh
        me: 122, shut the **** up already

          they use to have simpler weight classes just like in UFC. Some ppl like it some would rather go back to the older days when there were no "super" or "Junior" weight classes or the Cruiserweights

                Yeah I agree they should scrap
                Straw
                Jr fly
                Jr bantam
                Jr feather
                Jr light
                I would keep cruiser though cause 176 is too small against a klitchko
                201 is fairer
