why is this fight at 147lbs. when both pac & jmm can't even make the ww limit?

JMM is accepting the fight at welterweight because Manny has the WBO belt. He wants to be the first Mexican with titles in 4 divisions. It was either Manny's or Zab Judah's IBF junior welterweight belt. Tim Bradley and Amir Khan are unifying the rest of the 3 belts at junior welterweight this summer.

OR Manny could've taken the risk by going down to lightweight to take Marquez's lineal title. With Roach's comment about Manny never moving down again, I saw little possibility with this.

I suggest a catchweight of 141 lbs.

why are you beefing about the weight? it's just a simple offer which jmm hasn't accepted yet. they will still have to negotiate and for sure the fight weight will be discussed if ever. no one knows what will be the weight until the fight gets made...whether it will be at 147 or 140...or maybe another bull**** catchweight.

Fact; Mayweather and Pacquiao both came in on fight night at 148 lbs in their jmw debut, only difference was Mayweather didn't fight at a catchweight.
