You are mistakingly thinking that helps Marquez and wouldn't effect the fight because of fight night weights. It would be a welterweight against a lightweight, weighing 135 for a fight where Pacquiao weighs in at 144 or 145 would be horrible for Marquez.Comment

JMM is going to get beaten at welterweight. However, this is the fight he wants. Manny has been fighting at 147 for awhile now. JMM is the one screaming for the rematch. He needs to come up to where Manny is at- that is just the reality of the situation. IMO, JMM just wants to make some money before his career ends. He had no qualms about moving up 2 weightclasses to fight Floyd either.Comment

It's simple, Pac calls the shot so it must be at 147. Marquez comes at weight where he is most comfortable. Let's say between 135-140. Pac comes in as usual at 143-144.
Marquez weigh in 135-140, fight night 147-148
Pacquiao weigh in 144, fight night 147-148
In this scenario, I don't see any significant advantage from Pac over JMM as they both at the same weight. Pac doesn't come in around 160 or more to have a size advantage over Marquez like Floyd. The only problem is...Pac is already a proven fighter who can **** those 160 lbs over big guys unlike Marquez and so the reason we don't give him much of chances against Pac at 147.Last edited by boxer.exposed; 04-25-2011, 09:06 PM.Comment

Fight should be at 140. Fuck the belt. Pac complains about all the eating he has to do to make 147 so why not just make it 140?Comment
