What the ****. I'm sorry, i like Darchinyan. However, he's moved up and been easily outpointed by Agbeko, Mares (having knocked him down and had him cut up) and beaten softer than cream cheese opposition. This latest fight was against a slow starting guy who has been through reaaaaally tough battles. Vic switched off in the middle rounds of these two losses and had to pick it up just to stay in there. His power was on the verge of dropping off. I give him little credit for the win, besides hurting Perez with some good shots. He got lucky with a technical decision, now he wants to move up?!

Sccccccheeeeit, Gerry Penalosa would beat him.

Just, don't understand how crazy everyone is going for this win, it's as if he actually stopped him!

"Illegal to use your arms to measure?? Fighters can't push each other off? What sport have you been watching?

Gotta wonder how much Donaire wanting to unify had with this.

Why do people that obviously hate a fighter feel the need to start with "I like Darchinyan" then go on to say "But, he's ****, has never beaten a good fighter, sucks, was lucky and will never do anything good ever and would get beat by forty year bums"?

First off, Agbeko, Mares and Perez are the top three fighters at BW. He had a close decision loss to Agbeko, could have easily gotten the win against Mares and beat Perez in as dominant a performance as could be. How was he 'lucky' for gods sake when he hurt Perez in every round, knocked him down, won every single round and was coming on strong again when they stopped it.....and maybe you didn't see it but it was actually Perez who refused to fight on and called the doctor in so it could be stopped. If anyone was 'lucky' it was Perez by having the fight stopped on a cut without having to go through another six rounds of a prolonged beating or KO.

If that's what you call 'lucky' I'd hate to see what's not a lucky stoppage and what someone would have to do for you to say he was would have won the fight by an absolute mile if not just knocked him out anyway.

                Get beat by Penalosa?

Love him or hate him, you cant deny one thing: he is willing to take risks and take huge fights during an era where most of boxing's elite are refusing to fight each other over promotional issues and small differences in $. Some risks pay off ( killing mijares who was p4p at the time) and some don't (getting outpointed by agbeko).
