Comments Thread For: Vic Darchinyan Ponders Move To Super Bantamweight

IBO bantamweight champion Vic Darchinyan (36-3, 27KOs) is not going to waste his time. If he can't get a rematch with either Abner Mares or Nonito Donaire, he might move up to the super bantamweight limit of 122-pounds. Darchinyan was the champion at 112-pounds and the undisputed champion at 115.

As he goes up in weight Vic's power is not that dominating. He still has power but not that numbing power he had in the lower weights

      WV2 vs Vic

WV2 too big, and technically superior. He'll pick vic apart, tko late.

I hope he gets his rematch with Mares, Donaire smokes him at this point, a move to 122 can be good, maybe Montiel or Cordoba. Vazquez Jr. KHTFO!!

hopefully Mares is going to fight Vic again. Agbeko is out of the picture for now.

I know Vic is too risky of a fight for Golden Girls favorit Mares.

If Vic is forced to fight within the rules of the game, he will lose any fight at 122 lbs. It's illegal to use either arm as a measuring device (which Vic constantly measures with his right), it's illegal to throw elbows and illegal to use your forearm to push a fighter off. If the ref won't let him do that, he will lose to every fighter...

i didnt like the way he went about things in the recent fight but i still love the bloke

i also reckon his uppercut is becoming his biggest punch he just needs to be careful with a counter as his head is so low when moving in

all the best to him we need more people like vic in the ring
