What makes you think Maidana can beat Ortiz again. Mofo went a life and death with a shot Morales. Ortiz takes Maidana soul inside 8 rounds if the rematch happens. You must have forgot that Ortiz dropped Maidana 3 times and then dude quit because he had no heart. Maidana did not brutally KO Ortiz, Ortiz quit and could have gone the distance if he had wanted too. Ortiz has put the quitting behind him. Believe me, Ortiz is more skilled than Maidana. Lets not foget that a badly faded Morales outboxed a young strong healthy Maidana. Ortiz smokes tha overated maidana this time around.

Those are just empty words and would haves until it really happens. So far, the fact stays: Maidana made Ortiz quit.Originally posted by JOZ View PostWhat makes you think Maidana can beat Ortiz again. Mofo went a life and death with a shot Morales. That sig is awesomeOriginally posted by Rip Chudd View PostHaha, this kid is funny. Others may feel different but I think Maidana earned his shot by making Ortiz quit before. What other logical fight is out there right now for this dude. I say let Ortiz fight Aydin, then the rematch with Maidana.

I did not forget anything about the fight between these two(it was a classic)but the fact remains Maidana made him quit..The fact also remains that Ortiz(so called)skill was not display against Peterson or Maidana..Maidana might be a one trick pony but it is aOriginally posted by JOZ View PostWhat makes you think Maidana can beat Ortiz again. he sure has his ego now, after winning few fights and beating overrating BErto.
I didn't like this guy at the beginning of his career, I won't like him ever. I won't be surprised if in rematch he will quit again

**** sake another case off a fighters value skyrocketing more then would be just. Are you talking about the same Victor Ortiz who after putting Peterson down twice in round 3 started to run from him and Peterson is a fairly pissy puncher?Just because he beat Berto dont make him god.Originally posted by JOZ View PostMaidana is garbage, shot Morales proved that two weeks ago. Ortiz would ****d the unskilled brawler this time around especially at 147. Maidana power is overrated could not KO china chinned Khan or kO a shot fighter in Morales.

ortiz, just get your mando out of the way and if you can't get a fight with wifebeater or pac, then you might as well fight maidana.Originally posted by BIGPOPPAPUMP View PostWe may not see a rematch between Victor Ortiz and Marcos Maidana in the immediate future. In June of 2009, almost two years ago, Maidana stopped Ortiz in the sixth round of their war. Ortiz (29-2-2, 22KOs) has gone 5-0-1 since loss, and the win streak includes the most impressive win of Ortiz's career - the twelve round unanimous decision over Andre Berto to capture the WBC welterweight title.
