Morales vs. Marquez...this has nothing to do wtih Raheem!

I have always said that Marquez had a nice little style to take into a fight with Erik Morales and I want it to be known that this thread has zero to do with Morales losing to Raheem.

What is everyones take on a Marquez/Morales fight?

I like Marquez in this fight repeatedly stunning Morales with big counter right hands, Marquez is one of those fighters that will never be remebered in the same breath with Mexcian legends MAB and EM but he most definately should be, fight fans talk about how avoided Winky Wright has been, man Marquez is every bit as avoided.

Do Erik Morales and MAB even know who JMM is?

I made a thread like this before but I got lambasted when I chose JMM to win by UD.

They bypassed him, as did Hamed. Only Pacquiao manned up & fought him.

Problem with him....is that he seems disinterested in a VERY CALLED FOR rematch with Manny Pacquiao.

This is the queue for Pak-men to spout his "coward" routine.

Sorry about that. But, I can't let the "threat" of a nuisance keep me from stating relevant things.

Point is, he's a cheesy fighter and a boring one. Fans don't pay expensive tickets just to see lame counter-punchers who just stare at each other the whole fight. lol!

He did price himself out of a rematch...but he wants a high priced compensation for a high risk rematch in case he loses. He's gotta think about retirement, ya know. Especially with gas prices these days.

Agree completely, he definately seemed to have second thoughts about going back to war with Manny, the fight was on the table and for a guy who is starving for career definers he seemed to be all too content on letting this opportunity pass.

I still like him to beat Morales, and it would appear that a PAc remtach would be a U pick (except I think you may have to favor PAc slightly simply because JMM seems to not want the fight, which says a little something too me)

Has Marquez shown any interest at all at moving up to 130? I personally think he should.
