I believe that was the only reason that Haye fought Thompson, that he wasn't much good (and had those 5 KO's......).

Vitali will retire soon without having been beaten again and Wladimir will be the legitimate world champ for probably 5 or 6 more defenses so everyone should just get used to it already.

(P.S. I suppose I would like to see more competitive heavyweight fights too if I wasn't a Klitschko fan)
Everyone will remember the beating Lennox gave Vitali. sure we will remember there should have been a rematch, but most that were paying attention will still laugh at Lewis's reason for not fighting him right away, because i think he was spot on. Vitali really loses my respect when he doesnt give Leenox all the credit in the world. a prime Lennox wihtout a doubt woulf have owned him since the old Lennox on the decline still gave him everything he can handle and more. he should thank his lucky stars that fight was stopped because his career was saved.

VK has always been trained by a German Fritz Zdunek, as was WK. It was only just before the 1st Brewster fight (I think)that WK changed to Steward. VK still has Zdunek.

Translation; I'm training this bum to get knocked out, he has little if any chance. Maybe we can find a technicality to avoid this embarrasment.

I apologise for correcting you. The beating up was given by Klitschko to Lewis, and the fight was stopped NOT for a cut eyebrow(which had been under control since the 4th rd) but because the ****** doctor said "I asked him to LOOK UP and his EYELID stayed down over his eye, so because he couldn't see, I stopped the fight.......'

THAT was the reason the dr gave for stopping the fight, and the FACT was, that there was NOTHING the matter with Klitschko's eye nor eyelid. He likely didn't hear or understand the ****** dr, with all the hubbub in the corner, probably in 3-4 languages.

And the plain fact was, that Lewis was saved from a disastrous defeat to go with the beating up he was getting. He likely took more punishment in those 6 rds than in ANY other even 12 rd fight in his career.

AND my dear lad, he'd been avoiding Klitschko for the previous year, during which time, K was the #1 contender trying to get Lewis to fight him.

              Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

              THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt, was holding on for dear life and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was badly hurt several times in the fight.

              punches landed

              Vitali 156

              Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

After the fight, Vitali intimidated the shit out of Lewis and made him look like a bitch.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

              Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

Why would an out of shape Lewis take a fight on short notice with someone he was avoiding? That just doesn't make sense. Lewis took Vitali very lightly and almost paid the price, lucky for him Vitali was blocking with his face.

Lewis wasn't "on the decline" when he got his ass whooped by Vitali.

He was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis-Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age"

In an interview right before the Vitali fight, Lewis said "I'm at the peak of my powers, I will keep fighting for many more years"

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

lol at this xenophobic racist ******.

All of the best American heavyweights have been exposed and destroyed by superior Eastern Europeans. The same thing is happening in many other weight classes too.

Soviets/Eastern Europeans weren't allowed to turn pro until the 1990s because of the cold war/iron curtain.

Now Soviets/Eastern Europeans are allowed to turn pro and we're already taking over boxing.

This is just the beginning of the Eastern European domination.

NFL/NBA is just another WEAK EXCUSE.

There are tons of potential Eastern European Heavyweight Boxers who are doing Combat Sambo, MMA, Kickboxing, Hockey, Olympic Wrestling, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Worlds Strongest Man Competitions, etc.

America isn't the only country on the planet that has other sports.

                    Eastern European fighters are superior.

Either Klitschko beats any HW from any era.

Dundee is a delusional senile fool who belongs in a nursing home. He grew up in an era when Americans were taught to hate and fear Soviets. He's just another xenophobic American moron who hates the fact that two Ukrainian brothers are completely dominating the heavyweight division.

David "The Ducker" Haye is a proven coward, a fraud, a compulsive liar and a disgrace to boxing. He has been blatantly ducking the Klitschkos for almost 3 years. He finally agreed to fight Wladimir because HE HAS NO CHOICE. Sky Sports took away Haye's May 21st date and FORCED him to fight Wladimir.

Lets analyze the cherry picking fraud Haye's HW resume:

Wladimir destroyed the REAL WBA Heavyweight Champ undefeated Ruslan Chagaev, who clearly beat Prime Valuev in impressive fashion, unlike Haye who ran like a scared little girl from old shot crippled Valuev the whole fight and set the all time record for fewest punches thrown in a 12 round fight. That gutless coward Haye only threw 143 punches in 12 rounds...pathetic. Valuev got robbed. Even the biased British commentators had Valuev winning the fight. Grandpa Holyfield did better against Valuev than Haye did.

Wladimir Klitschko is the rightful WBA Heavyweight Champ.

Hypejob Haye is the definition of a paper champ.

Barrett - old shot glass chinned bum who was coming off a 2nd round KO loss to tomato can Cliff Couser. The glass jawed joke Haye was knocked down and badly hurt by Barrett.

Ruiz - 40 years old, shot to pieces, feather fisted, 9 losses. Haye struggled, lost rounds and was stunned and hurt by feather fisted Ruiz, the ropes saved him from getting knocked down.

Fraudley - shot 40 year old pathetic bum, weakest HW title challenger of all time, he should've retired 4 years ago after he got brutally knocked out cold in 3 rounds by tomato can Sprott. Fraudley-Haye was a pathetic farce and a disgrace. Haye was scared to engage with that bum Fraudley, who didn't even throw a single punch and took a dive.

Haye hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse. He has done nothing to prove that he has a chance against Wladimir.

Wladimir Klitschko vs Hypejob Haye = OVERHYPED MISMATCH

Wladimir will easily destroy that gutless glass jawed coward Haye.
