and Thomas Delorme, I belive he is at junior welter, or welter. He was in the Ortiz v Berto card.

Well maybe ur right but still Juanma was overrated. I know who they are man. Cruz fought in the undercard. Velazquez is signed with Golden Boy. Name one good champion since Cotto or Calderon.

If ur boricua u will understand this.

Its funny, he also said that he learned a lot from the Cotto v Mayorga fight as well, on how to be patient and not go for the knockout so soon, referring to how Cotto got the late 12th round TKO against Mayorga

But then he completely looses control and goes to war against Salido and gets KO--didnt seem like he learne dmuch from the Cotto fight after all.

And this article illustrates that he did not learn anything of value if he is citing fatigue as the main issue in the fight--and if fatugued he should have boxed smartly instead of going to war--evidence that he was indeed in love with his power--hopefully he learned that he cannot knock everyone out.

I will believe he leaned something when he gets back in the ring and shows improved defense headmovement & footwork ,a jab,and the abilty to keep cool and on task under fire.

Gamboa walked through Salido because he wasnt there to be hit plain and simple and even so he got clocked really hard a few times and flashed kd when he started to show off, Juanma has to improve hes defense and hes punch resistance somehow because this Mexican is a tough nut to crack. I was literally screaming at my tv "move ya ***ing head Juanma!" Hes head was looking like a damn piñata gettin hit so easily.

This is true but if I was a JuanMa fan my biggest concern would be his chin. He fights like a guy with a great chin and the reality is, he doesn't have one.

He needs to be more of a boxer and not stand and trade with guys. He got away with it in the past because he was so much bigger than most guys at 126lbs but if he plans to move up, he better not continue that strategy.

If Salido can KO him, imagine what Soto, Rios or Marquez will do?
