I dont think berta takes the rematch unless he sees ortiz struggle in his next fight berta will take a tune up then fight mosley and still get beat berta is not that good ortiz can make money fights I think he takes a easy fight then fights either floyd or madaina

I'd like to see a rematch down the line but not right away. I think both can take one or maybe two other fights before lacing them up to face each other again. I'd like to see Ortiz take on Aydin and maybe a Mike Jones. Berto should take a fight against Cintron who had been calling him out. If he were to fight and beat him maybe all these people saying he was "exposed, and a bum" would shut up. Guy loses one fight and all of a sudden he's a bum? Get outta here, he just got beat by the better man. Nothing wrong with that.

Berto wasn't "exposed" at all IMO. I think it was just two good fighters and one getting the better of the other. Berto would've stopped a lot of people that night if it wasn't someone as skilled and determined as Victor was. I hope they fight again but they should have one fight each first. Ortiz vs Adyin and Berto vs Collazo/Jones/Malignaggi.( I only say Malignaggi because its clear Golden Boy is trying to keep him relevant and Berto would probably be looking for an easier fight.)

Berto should just grab a belt from the other two unknown title holders.

They can all come back like Khan, Ortiz, Vic and others who have lost. Imagine if whane Pacquiao, Morales, Marquez, Khan, Maidana and others were bums when they lost a fight? We would have no good fighters...

Sadly this is how boxing fans are now, they jump from bandwagon to bandwagon, it is funny how the same people who was questioning Ortiz heart after the Maidana fight is now on his bandwagon.

I agree with you 100%, People are never happy. No matter what fight or what fighter there are always people hating on every single thread. It's actually getting kind of annying at this point. Whats sad is I guarante that the pepole that are always hating on these fighters have accomplished nothing with their live's let alone have the courage to step into a boxing ring but I guess those who cant do, will always hate on those who can.

I don't normally write on here do to all the ignorant people on here but had to give a thumbs up for a good post.

Don't encourage him! I could see him getting another belt then defending it against the Soto Karass's of the world on HBO for a mill or 2.

Berto was exposed. Khan and Klitschko and Ortiz are different cases. These men were simply knocked out and with Ortiz he quit, nobody questioned their skills.

Berto on the other hand looked shell shocked that he was in the ring with a fighter who was fighting back. He didn't know how to deal with it. Berto had his moments, but for the most part his stragety was to hold or to shell up.

Berto was exposed. He was giving a free ride with HBO and as soon as he stepped up to the World Class level he didn't know how to handle it.
