Berto needs a lil confidence boost after this not to mention have his brother sit on the sidelines he was doing absolutely nothing but giving useless advice "be an assassin, be an assassin" now how the hell does that help berto out lmao

I hope nobody's serious about Mayweather Ortiz, That is such a onesided fight and Mayweather has nothing to gain from it.

I agree, Berto can't expect a rematch when he didn't want to give Collazo one. People calling for Ortiz vs PBF are getting way over there heads. Ortiz still have flaws and would be able to get away with that with Floyd. There's still khan, Mike Jones, Bradley and other guys before that happen. It was a great fight but Ortiz showed more in the later rounds. Berto was a lost waiting to happen because he didn't improve his game. Needs a new trainer or bring some help in. Much props to Ortiz.

As stated in post fight interviews by di bella, there was no rematch clause. They were expect to dispatch with ortiz and move on. totally over looked ortiz.

Your right but I see Floyd pouncing on the opportunity to fight Ortiz who would be the easiest option out there that wouldn't get widely criticized. Ortiz is too flawed to pose a threat to Floyd. People are making Ortiz out to be this unbelievable fighter now that he is champ. Fact is he was fortunate to severely hurt Berto in round 1 because that allowed him to control the fight. He is still flawed and new to the division.

                Funny situation for Andre Berto...

He really can't have a rematch with Ortiz because he sure wouldn't give one to Collazo...

...then here you have Cintron callin him out, and he has said nothing about it...but everyone knows that he was twittering non-stop trash talking Mosley...

After this fight, I really can't see what level Berto is truly on...By having the thought that he would walk right through Ortiz, he set himself up...He was surprised that Victor could take some of the shots that he threw, and at the same time was repeatedly shook by Victor's punches.

It is going to be really interesting to see how Berto comes back from this. It may be a shellshock moment to him and he may not be able to come back from this...Almost like a Jeff Lacy situation...

I think every fighter has a flaw or two. Doesn't take away from them as a fighter but rather gives them something to improve. Ortiz performed better than alot of fighters outhere getting more hype than him. I say if Ortiz keeps this mentality and keeps improving on his skills. I say he will be a very dangerous fighter. He showed heart, durability, power and endurance. All the makings of a great fighter. When Berto dropped the hammer on him in the 6th I didn't think he would make it out but he did by dropping Berto. I don't know why people would say Ortiz is far off from the rest. Sure he needs to improve like every fighter does but he showed that he has the goods.

Berto did offer Collazo a rematch but Collazo didn't want the money they were offering him, so he passed.

Didn't know that Floyd changed his name to Pac. Guess what....... IF Pac was to fight Marquez again. Guess what weight that it will be at? You guessed it......147. Nobody knows what Floyd is going to do but Floyd. whoever Ortiz is going to fight, I will be watching to see his developments.
