perhaps old angelo got confused and meant to say if he beats Wlad then beats Vitali and then decides not to retire and stays undisputed champ for a few years he'd be top 15 - that would be perfectly reasonable. But just beating Wlad? ... I don't think so.

Haye is lucky in that he is a black heavyweight champion, and people will give him more respect than white heayvweight champions based solely on that fact. He's unlucky that he isn't American though, so he can't be ranked higher than Ali, Tyson, Frazier, Foreman etc. by most of the morons scrounging around the internet.
If he beat Wlad he wouldn't rank higher all time than Wlad but he'd be well on his way. If he beat Vitali, he'd should be ranked higher than both and just on the outside or right on the inside of the top ten. A long reign from that point on would make him a legend. It's a tall order to say the least.Comment

Haye aint that good. What the **** has he done at HW? ran and got an easy decision against Valuev, beat the journyman John Ruiz while getting tagged by jabs to the nose all night. Face it, Haye will never get passed the accurate, stiff, hard jab of Wlad Klitschko. Its boxing 101, and Klitschko has perfected it. And that right hand is enough to put Haye to sleep.
