How the hell did you all score the first 3 rounds to Juanma when they were tight and Salido should of at least won 1 of those rounds
I had the fight 4 rounds to 3 in favor of Salido 67-65
1-4 was a split
5-6 was all Salido
7 was up in the air Juanma the nod fight in PR thats why

beg to differ. i like most seen salido ahead by 2 or more rounds.
after 7 complete i had salido 68-64.

The cards favor Juanma but not by a lot, all Champions get the scoring tipped in their favor to some degree when fighting at home. American, Germany, UK, PR; it's just how it is.

I don't see why we're discussing the scoring so in depth when the fight was ended by KO. The right man definitely got the W.

That is exactly what I told my friend who was watching the fight with me.


I told him, if the fight goes the distance, no matter how badly Salido dominates Lopez, he will not get the decision.


I've seen it happen too many times and there is no reason and no recent fight that leads me to believe a visiting fighter will get a fair shake and gets the nod in a fighters hometown. It just hasn't happened in a while.

The judge's scores were within reasonable tolerances. Lopez won the first 4 rounds and Salido 5,6,7,8. The momentum was all with Salido and in those cards there is nothing to suggest that the judges would have reversed course at that point and began giving rounds to Lopez.

I guess some folks just like the moral authority that they think they have when they are able to portray themselves as the victim in a given situation.
