The scorecards were fine, saying other wise is a bull **** statement!!
The rounds Salido won he won them impresivley and the one's juanma won were a bit close, but he still won them. Juanma won rounds 1,2,3,7. Salido won 4,5 and 6. So the fight was a draw at that point. If you score the 8, then Salido was ahead by one point.

People here needs to lear how to score a fight!!!

It's important to understand how scoring works if you want to enjoy and appreciate boxing. Even many fighters don't "get it" when they lose a bout they thought they won. They don't understand scoring, either.
      Thats exactly right, green K

What the score cards have said at that point is irrelevant... If he would of went the distance Lopez was goNna get the win period.. Did you guys notice when salido would push lopez head down the ref would be all over it but Lopez was granted the luxury to do so?.. I forget what round Lopez was pushing his head down so much that salido reached for his leg and then looked at the ref like WTF.

True.. I had Salido slightly up. No problem with a draw. One judge had Lopez up, but only by a point. Besides, Salido got an "early stoppage". Yeah, Lopez was going down anyway, but you never know, Lopez might have been looking for a "bernabe concepcion". lol.

Home field advantage was evident, rematch should be in Mexico, every close round was given to Lopez maybe due to the fact that every time juanma through a punch the crowd went crazy which magnified every thing Lopez did, salido had to dominate to win a round, while juanma just had to do enough and be competitive and he would of got the nod, unfortunately he got stopped which I agree was a bit premature

I had Salido up. Lopez was getting handled all night. He also was mising alot of shots but the commentators was & crowd was acting like he was busting ass. I gave Lopez 2 maybe 3 rounds & he lost a point from a KD. To have it a draw or Lopez up was blind judging or bais judging & trying to give Lopez any point you can think of.

Yeah... That's why a Puerto Rican referee in PR, stopped the fight although the champ in the fight was still throwing back. Especially a guy like Lopez who has proven to have the heart in the past. I guarantee you in Mexico, with the situation reversed, it would not have been stopped. Stop talking nonsense Salido. And definitely stop acting like Mexican judges in Mexico are "fair." Seriously.

Salido wasn't going to get robbed. The first four rounds looked more or less even, but Juanma had the edge in the hometown, so any close rounds would be given to Juanma.

However, with that knockdown he scored and the fact that he was rocking Juanma from pillar to post, he was going to get the decision.

And if SOMEHOW Juanma got the decision, you would've seen which PR posters are objective and which are biased. This wasn't the Mtagwa fight where Juanma was ahead and winning the fight but on the verge of getting KO'D...this was Juanma getting battered since the 6th. He had some success in the seventh, but got clipped and started swinging those arms around like an amateur.

I don't care if weight was an issue or if his divorce had a role in his performance, Juanma NEEDS to improve his defense. Mtagwa almost takes him out, Concepción drops him in the first, old Márquez moving up rocks him, a tough Salido takes him out.

...and they say they want to see Gamboa vs. López superfight?

                      Puh-lease.
