Just watched boxing on Fox and must have seen 20 ads for the fight.

I kinda agree. There was more hype for the Margarito fight.

That fight sold cause Margarito is Mexican , the night of that fight driving through Los Angeles I saw couple houses with big screens outside BBQing with the fight on...

All Manny has to do is make fun of Mosley's jittery hand movements on an Elie Seckbach vid with Roach joining in saying, "Hey look! That's Mosley!"

Then on their last press day, Manny will walk out in the middle of the undercard press conference. Once he reaches the podium, he'll apologize to the media, saying he did not actually make fun of Mosley's shadowboxing, but the video was edited to make it seem that way.

This reminds me of all the idiots saying the Margarito fight wouldn't crack 700K. How'd that turn out?

FACT is this fight sold out all tickets for the MGM about a month before the fight and it's being advertised EVERYWHERE in NYC. I see it on the internet, TV, a massive banner in the middle of Times Square, literally every station on my subway ride home has at least 2 posters for the fight camp alone.

This fight is a guaranteed 1 million buys. Next week's fight camp will be on a saturday in primetime (CBS) for an hr long special, Pac will make his usual run on TV (Kimmel, TMZ, 60 minutes, etc).

Like I said, easy 1 mil but will probably do a lot more.

Good call TS. Everyone that knows me knows I'm a boxing freak, and I've had friends ask me about May-Mosley, Pac-Marg, Pac-Cotto, ect. I haven't heard a sound from *anyone* about this fight and it's, what, a month away?

You also got to remember though, *everyone* writes these kind of fights off three-four months out, and then the bandwagoners buy into the hype and really get the event heated up 3-4 weeks out from fight night. Remember how many people came out of the woodwork picking Margarito the last three weeks or so leading up to Pacquiao-Margarito?

It could do well over 1 million buys, only time will tell.
