So where's all the hype for the pac/mosley fight?

Wasn't this fight made for the casual fans since bob arum said he didn't give a *** about boxing fans?... By the way I'm not a Pac hater, a real boxing fan recognizes talent...

With that said.. Where's the hype? .. None of my friends that are "casual" fans have said one word about this... Infact, my "casual" fan friends said when this fight was made , "why's he fighting him, mayweather beat him"...all my friends are into the NBA playoffs .. I haven't heard anyone say one thing about fight camp 360... I'm a boxing fan and I haven't seen a single episode cause there's nothing interesting about this fight ...

So much for bob's genius plan for this fight to break records .. This fight is selling under one mill, you heard it here first

maybe cause your "casual" fan friends are actually basketball fans and are watching the NBA playoffs.

lol.. They are sports fans, period.. Is boxing not a sport? Was this not fight made for the casual fans?.. Point being, my friends have discussed the champions league more than this fight (that's soccer by the way)

I noticed this as well. Looks like this fight is gonna flop (under 1 Million buys).

I kinda agree. There was more hype for the Margarito fight.

I've been thinking almost the exact same things you have been. As Bob said in an interview prior to the Margarito fight, a fight needs intrigue to sell. This fight doesn't have intrigue on any level: its not competitive, no story line, no "event" status (like the first Cowboys stadium fight). Saying this will do under 1 mil is almost a guarantee at this point, hell it might not even break 900k. And if this fight doesn't do around 1.1+ you can kiss the Mayweather fight goodbye because Floyd will never agree to 50-50 if Manny doesn't sell within 300K of his fight with Shane
