DLH made careers for other boxers...maybe that is his best accomplishment.

Taking on top challenges and losing> taking on easy ones and winning. But that doesn't even matter though, it's ALL about the PPV sales and money you make. I mean come on, if you make money than you get to call all the shots and be your own boss. Who cares if your division is the best in boxing at the time, you can retire and not fight any of those top guys because you make so much money and sell PPV's. Once you do those you can do anything you want, including not fight and still be the greatest.

This thread would have worked better if there was somebody out there who actually believed Oscar was the GOAT.

If one listens to Floyd stans,

              Oscar is the GOAT.

"Boxing is a business" is what they've gone on about for the last 6 years.

              So, by that standard,

              TS is right.

                true success story.
6 division champ Oscar lost to a prime Mosely on steroids and was insanely robbed vs Tito "La Momia" Trinidad. Other than that he only lost to BHop when ODLH had moved into his 6th division. Definitely a top 20 ATG.

Every post this guy makes is about Floyd no matter what the thread is about. Scary.

Yes! I'm glad to know I'm not alone in wondering how Floyd was even mentioned. Wasn't this thread supposed to be about the multi-talented, grammy award winning Oscar De La Hoya? lol

Oscar was past-prime when he lost to Mayweather.
