I'm afraid while Ali was fast and had good combination punching, he was nowhere near as explosive and hit hard nowhere in the same league as Haye. Yes, I agree, Ali had a galaxy class chin.

David Haye is faster than Clay and has better reflexes than Clay.

Clay's chin is a mystery so I wouldn't use it as an argument.

Moreover Haye punches far harder than Clay.

The ONLY thing where Clay is better is stamina.
I have and he's not faster then Ali.
How's his chin a mystery you can't tell me some of the shots he's taken weren't ferocious and a prime ali's reflexs were great and ****** sharp. So were some of his counters.

When has haye be a type of person to slip punches or anything for that matter all I've ever seen him do was use foot work to get out the way. Never stand there and slip.

And in one punch power it all goes to haye he hits ****** hard sometimes but you say it as if Ali hit like a girl. Foreman Folley listen. Or his tko's
Before you say on cuts some people was just getting dawged coundnt continue or corner stoppage.

Power and explosiveness don't win everything. So if that's all Hayes got to win him this fight he's screwed

I hope Haye makes some noise; the heavyweight division is a dud and has been for years now. Klitschko losing would be good for boxing.

Power and explosiveness is what beat Ali.

But no, I don't think Haye wins, but it's not completely impossible. Just like it's not impossible to imagine the Klitschko's beating Ali and Tyson.

              THAT is your strategy?

              1) Penetrate the defense
              2) Manage to hit him on his chin
              3) Prevent him from reacting
              4) He will drop like a dead fly.

You got serious issues with the sport of boxing. No wonder you think Clay was great.

In Ali's times heavyweight was defined as 176+ lbs.
That's lower than today's FEMALE division.

Thus, yes, Clay hits like a girl. Or in his own words: "Like a butterfly".

Moreover Clay is one of the most FEATHERFISTED champs of all time:

One of the reasons why Clay's KOperformance is so bad is because he had such bad footwork and bad body movement. Additionally Clay is a stink'n'run boxer who spends most time of the round stinking (= strangling, holding...) and running away (= not engaging).

There is no comparison Haye to Clay. Clay's record on paper is better, though. But that's only because Clay was boxing during the Golden Age, which is called like that because it was such a P*SS.

Part of the reason why Clay could survive so long with his stink'n'run approach was because the 1970s consisted of a lot of featherfists (no wonder nearly all of them were former cruisers and sub-cruisers). Thus even if someone managed to hit Clay then his cowardly running away wouldn't slow down considerably.

Thank god these times are over.

Did you just mention a 140+ lbs guy as some kind of blueprint how to beat a Klitschko?

No wonder you are a Clay fan.
