What you should notice is that Floyd fights the biggest payday as possible with the lowest risk as possible. And, Ortiz fits that bill. And, they can make that fight for September. And, it will do good numbers. However, Golden boy might not want to do it.
The only reason I excluded Hatton was because he was never in an HBO PPV prior to that. But I didn't want to get technical. Technically, Hatton was a huge draw already, he had Sky Box PPV's with huge numbers, draw huge crowds, he brought a lot of money to the table. So technically, Floyd's last 3 opponents in a row have been on PPV with success, just 2 out of those 3 were HBO PPVs, but Sky Box PPV is a major boxing outlet.

GBP can put Juan Diaz on a PPV main event, they can put Maidana on a PPV event, but they can't put Victor Ortiz on his own main event PPV who just attracted 1.5Million viewers to watch his fight on Saturday, biggest number this year? They can't do that?

And you shouldn't try to twist things around, I said fighters who have been on PPV before, not fighters who were on PPV right before the Floyd fight. Marquez has been on a PPV that sold 400k. Mosley has been on a PPV that sold 900k, another one 500k, another one 600k. Hatton had already sold 100s of thousands of PPVs on his own in Sky Box vs no names.

Well of course GBP can do that and they will. I'm still confuse as to why you don't think Floyd would not jump on this opportunity if it was offered though? It will be the biggest money fight that's the lowest risk. That's what he's about. He's about timing and fighting the right guy at the right time. Ortiz right now fits that bill. But, I doubt GBP would sacrifice Ortiz like that. Hence why GBP will probably set up Ortiz to headline an HBO date or a PPV. But, that's beside the point cuz' we're discussing Ortiz chances on getting Floyd next.

mayweather takes ortiz to school. ortiz is very confident in what he can do to pac expecially at 147.pacquiao won't fight ortiz because of that sparring session.in reality the fight won't happen anyway because ortiz is'nt old, shot, and can't be weight drained.

Well because it all relevance to sparring match that means nothing. "Ortiz whooped Pac ass in sparring" and Kid Diamond whooped Floyd ass in sparring.

What does that matter? What is the point?

So Floyd won't fight Peterson or Kid Diamond cuz' of their sparring session?

it does'nt have anything to do with mayweather.he'll easily embarrass ortiz and ruin ortiz well deserved party ride. but pac is different from mayweather.pac has no defense and no jab.ortiz will beat pac worse than the sparring session. expecially at 147

You don't think he would jump at Robert Guerrero calling him out for a fight at 147? or Bradley calling him out for a 147 fight? I mean Guerrero seems like an even lesser risk to me. But he hasn't jumped at that, or on Bradley who's much smaller than Ortiz and smaller than Pacquiao.

Don't you think, maybe Floyd genuinely just doesn't want to box right now, if he's not even jumping at the chance of fighting these smaller guys calling him out like Guerrero & Bradley?

But i'm saying, maybe if Ortiz shows what he can do on PPV, doesn't even have to be big numbers, just 200-300k, maybe that will attract the big fights for him. But at the end of the day, I don't think Floyd even wants to fight, not even if Rafael Marquez calls him out for a 147 fight. To me at least, it really looks like he is on vacation[as much of a joke as people like to use that vacation line], and just wants to settle everything down with his personal life. Because to me, if he wanted to fight, he would have accepted Guerrero's or Bradley call-outs.

Yes because Guerrero is as hot as Ortiz is right now. Because, Guerrero would bring in the money that Ortiz will right now.
