The last sentence of the article is really hilarious.
After saying that he now calls the shots, in reply to the question of who will it be, Mayweather or Pacquiao, Ortiz says, "It doesn't really matter, WHOEVER GIVES ME THE SHOT." LOL!!!!

Ortiz can have his 2 fights, and he still wont be good enough for Pac. Because style wise Ortiz is a perfect fit for Manny to really look good. Its not a dig on Ortiz, is just that Ortiz wont be the type of fighter that would be giving Pac a hard time. Unless Pac of course starts to really slide from his prime..

He needs at least 2 fights and look good for Pac, Mayweather, or Bob Arum to consider putting a fight together....although I will agree that a fight with Ortiz will make Pac look really good but Ortiz will not have a rat's ass of a chance in beating him, I never said that with 2 fights he would be good enough - not even with 10 fights and a **** load of tacos will Ortiz be good enough to beat Mayweather or Pacquiao....

Nice "article". Just a couple of quotes from his fight that have been written about 100 times already. I wouldn't give Ortiz much of a chance vs either, especially not Pacquiao. He is way too easy to be hit to fight manny. Would be fun while it lasted though.

I think with one more big win on an HBO PPV, that does let's say 300k or more, Mayweather would give Ortiz a shot, and maybe even Arum too.

If you notice Mayweather's opponents since DLH, except for Hatton, all the opponents have been on PPV before with successful numbers. So I doubt Mayweather would want to fight a guy who has never been on PPV before. HBO should make Ortiz vs Berto on PPV, GBP make a good card like they have been doing lately, and just hope for the best. Bringing a belt to the table is good, it's a start, and 1.5 million viewers on HBO is great. "But what else can you do, can you sell PPVs? Is it only going to be my name[Mayweather or Pacquiao] selling the PPV? Or will your name help me sell this PPV? Let's see what you can do in your own PPV main event Victor"....Then I think this will attract the big fights Ortiz wants.
