If Mayweather had any sense he'd stomp on this and get a fight with Ortiz.

Good luck getting a fight. Would really like to see the belts unified, but the Bobfather is a stubborn one to deal wtih.

It's a good tuneup for Mayweather but I doubt he'd want the belt. He didn't want to pay sanctioning fees for Mosley's.

Manny's schedule (should he get past Shane) is already set. He will fight the Cotto/Margarito winner or Cintron (Maybe even Berto now that he has loss. Anyone with a brain should see the pattern.

There is no body to fight at WW other than Mayweather, Pacquiao and a Berto rematch. Mike Jones is out there but I mean he doesn't bring anything to the table, nothing at all, no money, no title, no fanbase, nothing.

Other than May, Pac, and Berto II, there's Mosley if he beats Pacquiao. And we all know Mosley would fight Ortiz, he fights anybody, he always has, but the problem is he's now with Top Rank. But if Mosley beats Pacquiao, you better believe he wouldn't be all "talk to my promoter" like Pacquiao, or on vacation like Floyd, Mosley would say he wants Ortiz.

Shame really that there is only one guy in boxing that doesn't call his own shots

think he needs to beat berto in a rematch 1st IMO before considering the rest of the elite WW's.
