  • If it was PBF in there that night, could he have kept Margito off him like Manny did?

Given that he is the consensus best defensive fighter today, could Floyd have kept Margarito off him like Manny did for 12 rounds? Or would it be like the Margarito-Cotto scenario all over again?

Note that Margarito prior to the Pacquiao fight averaged 100 punches per round as per Compubox. He may be slow, but a relentless one that throws bombs after bombs.

    Your thoughts.

virtually all of Floyd's opponents have a lower punch output than usual when they face him because they get countered too much and keep missing.

If Floyd were in there, a white towel would be flying in the ring and the ref would've stepped in to save Margo sooner.

Lol. funny reply. Care to explain why a white towel will be coming from Marg's corner and not Floyd's?

Same can be said of Manny's previous opponents. In the Margarito fight, Tony's output went dramatically down, as noticed by Jim Lampley, implying this was so because Tony wasnt used fighting a volume puncher like Manny and thus, spent more time defending himself more than usual.

The Margarito that Manny fought gets stopped in his tracks by the Floyd. Now the Margarito that called out Floyd at his own interview would have been a different story.

Floyd would load up with shots from in close, I could see a stoppage too.

nope, even if floyd wins hell piss blood, somehow along the fight margo will find a way to inflict pain to his liver and kidney.
