If it was PBF in there that night, could he have kept Margito off him like Manny did?

Given that he is the consensus best defensive fighter today, could Floyd have kept Margarito off him like Manny did for 12 rounds? Or would it be like the Margarito-Cotto scenario all over again?
Note that Margarito prior to the Pacquiao fight averaged 100 punches per round as per Compubox. He may be slow, but a relentless one that throws bombs after bombs.
Your thoughts.
Tony squares-up PERFECTLY for Floyd's jab to the solar plexus.
He'd get folded over like a card table.
Mayweather is just too good on the inside and is deceptively strong.
Tony would soon find out he doesn't want to be on Mayweather...just like all the rest.
Opponents fail to take into account how strong he is....once the bell rings their gameplans go right down the ****ter.
Floyd wouldn't have a mark on his face after a fight w/Margarito...unlike Pacman.Comment

Floyd will get in his chest and break Margarito down to the body. He'll be able to load up on his shots more than Pacquiao did because of how well he can defend himself on the inside. That's why I could see the stoppage.Comment

Tony would run into that jab to the belly all night.Comment

Did you see Manny's face post fight? Floyd would never allow himself to get tagged that much in a fight.Comment

Same can be said of Manny's previous opponents. In the Margarito fight, Tony's output went dramatically down, as noticed by Jim Lampley, implying this was so because Tony wasnt used fighting a volume puncher like Manny and thus, spent more time defending himself more than usual.Comment

C'mon now..
Marge never had a very good chance..if so...Arum would have cancelled Tony's ppv extravaganza with LIGHTWEIGHT Manuel "shot to hell" Gomez"..
But Bob said
"I can't get out of the Gomez fight,I have too much invested"
LOL
If Arum had a fighter that could beat Floyd he'd move heaven and earthe make it happen. He KNOWS he doesn't.Comment
